Who We Are

About DPIA Home

Welcome. Hi, I’m Danielle!

I’m a wife and mother of two boys. I enjoy entertaining, dining out, and traveling. I was born and raised in New York where I currently reside. From an early age, I had a passion for design and home decorating. As a teenager, I was eager to update my bedroom myself with a fresh coat of paint and finding the newest decor at a local Pier1 store. I can’t tell you how many times I would rearrange furniture.

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I worked in the medical field as a Radiation Therapist for almost 20 years. During that time, I met my husband, Chris. We both have a love for design and DIY. My husband is the muscle behind the projects we take on. He’s extremely talented and we make a great team. We’ve tackled projects big and small including a fireplace mantel renovation and archway casing. We are currently finishing up renovations in our two-story dream home. This being our second home, we had a clear picture of what we wanted our home’s aesthetic to be.  I enjoy creating cozy spaces with earthy neutrals, affordable home decor, and organic modern styling.

Thank you for being here. I love sharing my design ideas, decor, and lifestyle finds with you!

Danielle
